MAK Structures is a family run structural steel fabrication business based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. With over 20 years of industry experience spanning two generations, we have built a reputation for delivering high quality commercial and sub-contract steel fabrication that contractors and construction companies across the UK can rely on.



Operating from our purpose built 20,000 sq ft facility in Wakefield, we carry out every stage of the fabrication process in house. From shot blasting and cutting through to welding, fabrication and painting, our integrated approach gives clients a single, dependable partner from initial enquiry through to final delivery.

Our team holds UKCA marking certification and fabricates to Execution Class 3, ensuring full compliance with UK structural steelwork regulations. Every project we take on is backed by decades of hands-on expertise and a genuine commitment to quality, accuracy and on-time delivery.

Our Accreditations

This means that every beam, column, frame and fabricated component leaving our Wakefield facility meets the strict quality and safety requirements demanded by modern commercial and industrial construction.

Our welders are BS EN ISO 9601-1 coded, giving clients complete confidence in the strength, consistency and integrity of every weld we produce. Combined with our in house processing capabilities and rigorous quality control procedures, this level of certification allows us to support main contractors, specialist subcontractors and construction companies across the UK with fabrication they can stake their reputation on.
